Teachers Are Learners TooThe Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning with Technology MATLT has allowed me to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to incorporate technology, tools, and instructional systems in a variety of learning environments. Most notably, technology is affecting teaching and learning experiences in our classrooms in positive and dramatic ways that provide richer, collaborative engagement, problem–based critical thinking, self-assessment and inquiry, and better learning outcomes for students.

Technology integration offers learning opportunities far beyond the classroom as online enrollments continue to grow in higher education. Access is available to anyone at any time and with little or no training. The  opportunities for access and ease through synchronous and asynchronous instruction are  geared toward improving performance in many environments from military, corporate, job, employee and organizational training.

l am thrilled to share my learning outcomes, project redesigns and reflections in this portfolio to illustrate my journey through the MATLT program. I am most encouraged by the breadth of practical applications and learning opportunities I recognize now having studied this coursework.  I will share relevant and current examples of how technology is teaching us in non formal ways and enriching our understanding, connections and opportunities.
